Bioshock & Borderlands come to PlayStation Now

Thanks to successful negotiations with publisher Take-Two Interactive, PlayStation Now will be hosting games from the popular franchises of Bioshock & Borderlands.

PlayStation Now is Sony’s cloud-based streaming service for video games. The first two games for both series are available for streaming from today onwards. Previously, only Bioshock Infinite was available for the service.

PlayStation Now allows you to stream PS3 games on a variety of Sony devices, including the PS4, PS Vita and PlayStation TV as well as select models of Sony Bravia. Earlier this year, Sony made the service available to some models of Samsung Smart TVs.

PlayStation Now offers game rentals for 4 hours, 7 days, 30 days and 90 days. You may purchase a three month subscription as well which will grant you access to over 100 games. Plans are for the service to provide emulation for PlayStation 2 & PlayStation One games on the PlayStation 4, a feature currently reserved for developers.

Earlier this week, Sony also confirmed a PS4 remote play app for Windows & Mac. More details for PlayStation Now and the unnamed remote play app may emerge at PlayStation Experience this weekend.
